Privacy at Do Scan

Your files

Extract pages, split PDF, page numbers, text watermarks and the browser layout shortcuts process unprotected documents in your browser memory without uploading them. Protected PDFs are sent with the supplied password to Google Cloud Run once for unlocking. The password is cleared from the form after success, and the unlocked working copy stays in browser memory for up to one hour or until you replace the file or leave the page; changing editing options reuses that copy. Generated results are unprotected. Other workflows may send files to Google Cloud Run. Files submitted to a server tool are processed only to complete the action you request and are not intentionally retained by the processing server. The Merge PDF editor keeps its generated working document locally in your browser for up to one hour so you can review, reorder, rotate and remove pages. The local copy is deleted after download or when it expires.

Document security

Do Scan does not use uploaded document content for advertising or sell document data. Avoid processing sensitive documents on shared devices, and close the editor when you are finished.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, referral sources, device and browser categories, tool selection, processing progress, editor actions, completed downloads and clicks to the App Store or Google Play. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. Analytics does not receive filenames, uploaded document contents, annotation text, signatures or generated document contents, and Do Scan does not sell personal information.
